It’s Friday the 13th but our advent calendar choice is lucky! This nature cheddar is delicious, packed with flavor, and the perfect example of what mac and cheese should be.Here’s the stovetop recipe with mature cheddar, Parmesan, farfalle pasta, and crispy jalapeños:Stovetop Mature Cheddar Mac and CheeseIngredients:
• 4 oz farfalle pasta
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup milk (whole milk recommended)
• 1 teaspoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Chicken Base
• 1 package Aldi advent calendar mature cheddar cheese (approximately 1 oz)
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Crispy jalapeños (for topping)Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta:
• Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the farfalle and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Make the roux:

3. Add milk and Better Than Bouillon:

• 4 oz rotini (or pasta of choice)
• 1 oz black pepper Gouda (advent cheese)
• 1 oz parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 1/2 tsp better than bouillon
• Salt, to taste
• 2 tbsp grated cheddar (for topping)
• 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs (for topping)Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook 4 oz of rotini in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.

• 1 oz parmesan cheese
